Zoos I like but circuses Im not to keen on. I still go though because sometimes I just want to see an elephant stand on its head. * +

I wouldn't have an issue with a zoo, in Ireland anyway, they get treated so well. Not sure about the circus. * +

Circus animals probably look down on zoo animals, at least they perform and earn their food. Zoo animals are kinda welfare cases. Often all they have to do is hang out , tell jokes and breed yet for some even this is too much. C'mon Pandas. In house panda p*rn? A step too far i think. * +

i really can't abide them. i would rather game reserves etc... whether the animals are well cared for or not, i find it very cruel to breed nd keep them in captivity without lettin them free. * +

What is freedom to an animal though? Its a concept or a philosophy of our creating. If zoos are an oppression of animal freedom then surely pet ownership is too. * +
