A man who tried to kill Gadaffi in the 90s was captured, tortured and then disappeared. His body was found a few months back in a freezer and his son, who is now 20, led the janaza (funeral) When his father disappeared he was still in his mother's womb. it's hard to imagine the emotions he must have felt seeing his father's body for the first time. * +

Yet sadly after Gadaffis death Libya is still a massively torn country with daily violence and deaths. It has made me think recently that maybe these countries need their dictators. When dictatorship is displaced with democracy violence and murder still seem to be the order of the day. Some things you just dont seem able to change. * +

realy its sad and painfull to hear that. but libya is like the majority of arabic countries full of sad dramatic stories. dictators hv crushed people and deprived their rights as human being. * +

awful, for the son to ever lay eyes on him alive or as a dead person, to know what happened to him is hard to sw*llow even for a bystander, but its a reflection of what people like gadafi are, ruthless criminals an murderers acting like gangsters, gold, oil, drugs an power is what they really care for an they take it by force or deception.. who benefits from them? *
