I think the fact that men pour acid on women and children is being ignored and maybe even encouraged in those parts of the world. By education i meant there should be educational campaigns against it and laws to punish the men who torture and mutilate their families. * +

There are laws but they aren't implemented when your country is run by a criminal. Throwing acid is a growing problem in parts of Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Sri lanka. *
