no thats an over simplification of evolution. birds are the descendants of dinosaurs, a process which took millions of years, not 1 generation. But this post is not about evolution its about which came first. And eggs were around before chickens. * +

what a hard question. I think it needs an organism to make an egg. If i think at the 1st cell ever, frm which life evolved, i'd say it was the egg of life. * +
