in Islam if he is mental then he is sinless. whatever he is doing is sinless. but he shouldnt be freed to public tho, for public safety sake. * +

a person who is insane, they dont know what theyre doing, God dont punish those who knows not, theyre still innocent in God's Sight, we too cannot punish those who are insane. but we can only do to base for to secure the people around the insane one. we cannot be harsh to the insane. their sins are all forgiven by God. same as children who havent passed their p*bercent. theyre considered sinless people. * +
