Space travel is not good for the body, flesh and bone that will succumb to the rigours of age and space/ psychological damage. What of a creature made from self regulatory and perpetual nanomachines, where the human brain is no longer encased in a mass of protoplasmic fibres, but exists throughout the eternal body. daydream A hundred thousand years, a million years. What would that matter to an eternal gadabout, with lasers.

Some really interesting ideas here, if it were possible I think I'd do it. *
