yes, but who defines the 'objectively true interpretion'. Who gets to say what understanding is correct? For centuries, the creeds got to say that. But they have largely lost authority.

perfect is flawless. without alternative. hence why i think the perfect word of god cannot be subject to multiple interpretation or concepts like free thought. perfect is the furthest thing from ambiguous. anything less than consensus and accepting only one interpretation would mean it wasn't perfect to begin with. * +
