@ candiee, its a special prayer you make if you are going through a difficult phase such as not being sure what decision to make, you ask for guidance from Allah through this prayer and then in most cases you'll have a dream relating to that matter where Allah gives you a hint as to what you should do. * +

An example would be, say you get a job offer which could change your life, and you arent sure whether you should go for that job or another similar one, you perform this prayer and you might dream of guidance from Allah * +
