Except for very few people, the Zambian citizenry have overwhelmingly opposed the idea. Church mother bodies have vowed to oppose any such legislation. The few supporting it seem to be championing a lost cause. Next door, Mugabe made a fiery statement against Cameron weeks back over this issue, telling him 'to hell with you' * +

That's true. I don't see it happening soon either. The greatest achievement the UN can score is to stir debate and awareness on issues of homosexuality. Nothing more. * +
