it takes a lot longer than 55 days to extablish credit. they want years of history. Not everyone can get interest free cards without having history. What may work in your area might not apply or work every where. Trust me. Peoples credit is what I delt with a lot in my last job. Best to get a card, buy something small. Pay it off. Keep doing that until you can get another card. Do the same. Rotate cards every month. Never put anything big on it. Keep doing that until u get your countries valued card. Mine is the Chase card. Doesnt mean if a card is 55day interest free that your credit record lasts 55day. It means that the item u purchase on credit is intrest free if paid within 55days. Ur credit card is ongoing and ur record will be gud. Absa bank offered me a credit card yesterday with an intrest rate of 8.5percent after 55days. * +

The RCS credit card has an intrest rate of 30percent. It would make alota sense to transfer ur higher intrest rate debt onto a lower intrest rate card. *
