It's sad but it happens all to often in Christianity. People will hear stuff like if you give now then surely God will bless you. More recently in my mind is the 20/20 report about churches in third world countries chafing the equivalent of a years wages there to have demons cast out of children. If it wasn't done then try whole family would be kicked out of the community. * +
