So @ Paul, the 'elect' are not immune, otherwise there'd be no need to warn them of falling into judgement. At the end of the day, God and Christ know who are guilty of the sin against the spirit. * +

Well, that's interesting. Were the pharisees ever convinced of Jesus' messiahship? I was under the impression that like Judaism has always believed, they expected the messiah to come immediately as a mighty King to rescue them, hence they rejected the lowly rabbi who said he was the messiah. * +
