Finally got around to watching it last night, yeah yeah I know I'm late, but the DVD subtiles were annoying so never watched it all until I got it on Blu-ray, but digress... Wow. Should be complusory viewing in schools imo. Not only is it an increadible movie, it's a movie that clearly shows the terrible results of extremisim and hatred towards others purely down to diferences in race...and also the stupidity in blind loyalty to anything, be it a leader or a God. Haven't seen it? Watch it. * +

Hitler was broken and pathetic by the end....yet others still showed idiotic blind loyalty....Reading about it is one thing, but to see it....I was prepared for the scene when Magda Goebbels kills her own children....but it was horrible, one of the most upsetting things I've ever seen in a movie tbh * +

its a brilliant piece of cinematic wizardry actually accounts as fortold by Hitlers own secretary and so wonderfully acted gets deep into the soul of how it was during those last hours and what better nation to produce it than the Germans themselves one of my favourite modern films and i echo the PW comments it is most definitely a must see *
