Instead of boxing day in sa they have the day of goodwill.Think that's a much better idea then boxing day.A day to help someone less fortunate then yourself i think is great,we should do it in the uk

Given that the tradition of Boxing day is that this was the day when the alms boxes were poened and the proceeds given out to the poor and less fortunate i think its basically the same yeah? Except rather than just one daty ppl were encouraged to give alms to the poor all yr and boxing day was just the day it was handed out * +
