i read the bible once because i wanted to know what is written in it and what does it say, but the thought of knowing it by heart repugnes to me as i believe that believing in God and being convinced He is there does not need knowing all those marks and numbers, i remember a few verses that touched my heart but i don;t see the point of learning it like a poetry... believing or not beliving is a matter of heart... * +

also i wonder if believing has anything to do with ones job, except being a priest of course. for example i studied to be a nurse, and while being trained in the hosp, i haven't met a nurse that did not believe in God... i didn't asked them if they believe or not lol but they were alwyas saying something about God, esp things that dealt with hope... * +

No one I really know would be what you would call spiritual people dunno if they believe in a god or not but wouldnt class them as christian. They include nurses, caregivers, councillors, volunteer firemen even St Johns ambo drivers. I myself volunteered at the RSPCA when I had the time/energy. *
