If the hadith is an interpretation of the quran, the hadith cannot be regarded as a reliable source since its in conflict with the quran on a simple matter.

Hadiths are the description of Quranic verses, anything conflict with the verses of Quran are lies and not hadiths...I think i point that out before * +

Interpretation of Quranic verses can only be done by God selected people i.e Ahlul Bait a.s, bcoz Quran is words of Allah therefore common people cant interpretate Verses of Quran, it can only be done by God Selectd People, and their saying are recognized as Hadith * +
