It's been known since the very beginning that the angel of the LORD, Michael, the son of God is our Lord and savior jesus christ. who is described in proverbs as the first of Gods works who then was the craftsman at his side in creation. lets begin with origen There are certain creatures, rational and divine, which are called powers (spirit creatures, probably angels); and of these Christ was the highest and best and is called not only the wisdom of God but also His power. - ANF 10:321-322. * +

now we see that origen says that he is the highest of the powers Angels we then can easily identify him as Michael the chief of all the Angels as daniel 10 calls him (the first of the chief princes( and the prince of israel also called (the great prince) in daniel 12 which shows him as christ delivering the people at the end. many bible scholars and bible encyclopedias have admitted atleast that jesus is called angel and Michael in the scripture. * +

here is daniel 12 where christ is called michael (And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation (even) to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book) * +

Here daniel 12:2 continues showing that this is the end and that Michael here does indeed represent christ in the very end it says (And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame (and) everlasting contempt. )this scripture is compared with others that without doubt prove that jesus is Michael but first lets see what the smith bible dictionary says The International Standard Bible Encyclopaedia:The earlier Protestant scholars usually identified Michael with the preincarnate Christ, finding support for their view, not only in the jux * +

Jesus is Jesus and Archangel Michael is Archangel Michael. Jesus is the Son of God so Jesus is God born of Virgin Mary and Michael is an angel, creation of God. Jesus is Messiah, sometimes called Ellijah 'The Saviour, Son of God' while Michael the Archangel was s e n t by God to defend the people of Israel and his name means 'Nobody is like God. There is no way Jesus and Michael are the same thing. * +

excuse my typo but lets get that reference again the international standard bible encyclopedia: The earlier Protestant scholars usually identified Michael with the preincarnate Christ, finding support for their view, not only in the juxtaposition of the child and the archangel in Rev. 12, but also in the attributes ascribed to him in Daniel vol. 3, p. 2048, Eerdmans Publishing, 1984 printing. * +

Michael is the Son of God in the book of thess chapterv 4 verse 16 says the Lord himself shall decend from heaven with a loud command WITH THE VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL and with the trump of God and the dead in christ shall rise first) when you compare this with what jesus said that the dead will hear the voice of the son of God then come out of their graves, then we know that the archangel is the son of God. * +
