No I dont think that. I think were only just beginning to start to understand to ask the right questions rather than think were providing the right answers. I agree with Richard Feynman when I say I just dont know. The big bang happened, but I dont think it was the beginning. It couldnt be because the primary law of physics is cause and effect and you cant create something out of nothing. There was a preexisting state.

i'm of the opinion the universe expands to a certain point until star death occurs, growth stops, and then the universe contracts back to a single point of infinitesimal mass which can't remain stable; so you get a 'big bang.' then everything starts again. like a continuous 'loop.' reading * +

Isnt it technically the universe isnt expanding just the space in between? Thats why everything is moving away from everything else (aside from colliding galaxies of course) * +
