is a service to pray the old out and the new in. thank the LORD for what HE has done and show faith in what HE will do. communion and feet washing. (because its just me and my son and we seperate men and women during feet washing we dont do that) ours will be very early because of my son needing to be in bed at a decent hour. * +

I don't really agree with the separation during the feet washing, but people are petty and jealous creatures so I can see the necessity of it. Would a person serve another differently because of gender? Of course not. But because of man it's hard to accurately portray that sentiment during a ceremony. * +

true. and i agree that there are those ridiculously jealous. with my son its different. first off its a choice if someone does not want to their not pushed into it. but if my son wanted to because of his disability he may think its ok to splash or even tip it over. knowing him he may try to pour it over someones head including his own. so i prefer he do his feet washing with someone who has a firmer voice so that he either respects the others while they partake or behaves himself while he does *
