To be clear ... Denouncing people as innovators is a convenient way to ignore the full depths of Shariah that has been developed by pious scholars in the specific contexts they found themselves. It is correct, but Salafis denounce all things they don't understand as new things introduced into the religion, rather than those necessary things derived from it. Qutb produced certain tafseer, but those who depend on it are failing in the responsibilities to the people of Egypt. * +

Here is one of the comment of the great scholar of his era ,Abdullah ibn Abdur-Rahman ibn Jibreen (said on 26/2/1417 and published in a magzine) I say, Sayyid Qutb and Hasan al-Banna are among the scholars of the Muslims and among the people of da'wa. Allah has brought benefit by them and through them He has guided many people. They both have efforts (for Islam) which should not be denied.
