Monotheism... The one God. All Monotheistic faiths teach that there is only one true God, and all followers of said God should convert all worshippers of other 'false Gods/prophets.' So essentially, what monotheism teaches is to conquer all and 'unite' the world under that one God. Isn't it time these Gods of war were banished to the history books? * +

So, conquest to encourage people to believe in a whole pantheon of different gods. Going by the numbers, people have an inclination to believe in something higher, as it was. So, after the decades of pain and death in establishing this free thinking, you'll also have a multitude of sects and cults fighting each other over the veneration of their esoteric god. * +

As long as you have these Gods of war, who want to rule the world and everyone in it, there will always be a power struggle. You can witness it in every corner of the Earth, most notably the middle East. Its no different to what the 's wanted to achieve, its no different to the prospect of a one world government. * +
