there are shelters but they are almost always full, so there are those who are living on the streets. there are a couple soup kitchens but they usually serve once a week and holidays only so there is the rest of the week. there is something called the help center. but what they give out mainly is bread and sweets. usually only one per household. so if you have a big family that must suffice for * +

there are people here that dont make enough to pay for medical without financial struggle or just abandon their medical needs yet arent poor enough to qualify for assistance. * +

i understand homelessness is awful everywhere. just want it to be known being a homeless american doesnt mean you still have home and food. and if someone may not know about the service or maybe doesnt have the mental facility to seek for the help, who knows? * +

The thought of people being homeless always upsets me, even more so in winter. Ireland is still a pretty decent place to live, as regards to that. There aren't too many people homeless here and anyone that cant afford it, has access to good and free medical care. I dont know how long this can last though. * +
