Yes, and humans created religion to enforce these values. Note how all monotheist religions teach us how to act amongst others. They are manual for somebody living amongst a large number of people., how to conduct yourself in society. * +

Even people who live in rainforests, they have a Shaman, who's role is the community mediator, somebody to turn to when they have worries, problems with others etc. Basically the same role your priest/pastor has. A shoulder to cry on haha Religion serves a purpose. Its not a divine creation. Man made. Made in Africa most likely :) *
