i think it represents the laid-back, apathetic and reduced enthusiasm of the church before christ's return. but a 'midnight cry' message to awake and meet the bridegroom will go forth but not all in the church will manage to have the oil (Holy spirit), so some in the church will be turned away at the last minute. * +

Erm cause at Jewish weddings while they were waiting for the bridegroom to show up sometimes they would sleep while the groom tarried. Lol not everything is a bad thing or means something more. Notice the wise and foolish virgins slept. *
