I get where Kotak is coming from, but I dislike performance art immensely, usually the final bastion of the talentless. Whether it's giving birth for a crowd of pseudointellectual beatniks, or nailing yourself to a Volkswagen, it seems so hollow and vain. She also called it the highest form of art, and will be documenting the child's upbringing until he's independent, another loopy hipster. * +
