I've been on youtube and found a nice young man who has a talent.....for singing traditional Christian hymns but he sings them to the tune of modern songs. Do you think its good of him to bring hymns into the modern music scene or should hymns be left as they were orginally written and composed ? * +

If you want to reach out to children with music, give them the music of today . * +

most hymns wre written in the last 200 yrs or so... so they're hardly 'traditional'... there was 1800 yrs of christianity before... and i've yet to see the passage in the bible that says 'thou shalt sit in a cold draughty building and sing boring songs and listen to a boring old fart waffle on for ages every sunday' '... who is to say what is the right or wrong way to worship? * +
