@bozzalad, when i got to the hall, there were no men there, they all went for the nikkah (wedding at the mosque with the groom), so I sat at the table where all my work collegues were seated in the womens section. * +

So as soon as the bridal couple walked in the hall, i was expecting sum1 to anounce them in, but they just walked to the front. The girls parents then went around greeting everyone, the girls father who is a good friend of mine then came and sat with next to me and as we talking he tells us we lucky siting in the womens section coz the mens doesnt have any cutlery so all the men have to eat with their hands. * +

He knows I cant eat with my hands, anyways he then invited us to his home after the wedding and proceeded to greeting the people. There was alota of food at the wedding, it was a many course meal, I lost count how many with sweet stuff for starters a long cake table half the length of the hall. * +

So after the people finished eating their meal, everyone started talking etc, i found it an odd time for a lady to start giving a speech since no1 payd any attention even tho she asked for their attention over 3 times. The music in the hall was strictly islamic and their after the people proceeded to wish the couple. * +
