I greet you all by the name of jesus. My fellow brethren i am so confused (if this is not the weakness in me) on how the church is interacting with the govt nowdays. As some say politics is a non spiritual world, others say the basis of politics is God.Should the church sacrifice itself in political matters OR just concentrate in charismatic kingdom only? * +

Politics is about putting food in your belly. Knowledge in your head. Clothes on your body. A roof over your head. Opportunities for career advancement and fulfilment in life. Reducing inequalities and alleviating poverty, misery and segregation of all sorts. Should these things concern church-goers? * +

The church itself is a political machine. She can't avoid it and bury her head in the sand. When she does so she can't fulfil her mandate. The question should be to what degree * +
