I can kind of understand the point. Although I think he didn't care for a God, considering Germany itself divine. The evocation of a belief in a god was lip service he paid in his rise to power. If he thought of himself as a god, I don't know. A budding eugenicist, definitely, so perhaps he had a god complex. * +
