there's this illogical idea now being spread by eternal torment apologists: eternal life means heaven, death means hell. But does your bible talk of places or states. This idea is so incoherrent with your scrptures that eternal life and death have now become 'places' as opposed to what they simply are: eternal means unenending. death means termination of life. places but simply unending life and the deprivation of life respectively. Its that simple. John 3:16 itself juxtaposes the saved and the rest as living eternally and perishing, dying, respectively. just like Romans 6:23 tells you that sin will be punished with death, npt unending life in a place of any kind. *
