@halman I disagree with you on Satan dubiously 'infecting' people and 'healing' them later. It doesn't stand to medical facts. A man leads a promiscuous life and gets HIV. Can you blame satan? The man mends his ways and gets prayed for and gets cured. Can you credit Satan for the healing? Pardon me but I find attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to satan blatant blasphemy.

@halman I also disagree on the James verse referring to 'spiritual sickness'. Nothing in the context suggests that. If you check out Mark 16:18 Jesus gives his followers authority to 'lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.'

Well I'm a believer and Follower in Jesus Christ.. i've yet to see that happen,.. and que answer from purest1.. frankie you are the problem, because Mark 16:18 is clear, if they aren't healed, well something is up.. but purest1 you said earlier, a specific gifted anointed person can heal, o that's right i did,... now your saying all followers can... Uh hmm * +

I assumed no christian would dispute divine healing, not only because verses backing it are numerous but because as christians we all believe God answers prayer. God didn't promise to answer prayer on certain areas but not illness. If we trust in God's faithfulness to answer our prayers regarding jobs, safety, etc why not illness? Did God promise to answer prayer as long as its not about illness?

Obviously no Christian can dispute divine healing, i most certainly can't. However, be discerning, since counterfeits exist (1 John), just because they claim to believe in Jesus, doesn't automatically make them legit. Jesus said many will say to me, 'we did miracles IN YOUR NAME and Jesus replied, DEPART FROM ME, I NEVER KNEW you.. Matt 7:22 * +
