After khilafat of hazrat omer(ra)muslims choose hazrat usman ghani (ra) for khilafat,but there was clashes btween ali and hazrat usman(ra) so atleast ali groups people one day go to hazrat usman(ra) house and house arrest him(it was long story but i will b write here in short) * +

And after couple of days hazrat usman (ra) was shaheed at the shahadat he was busy recite of quran.hazrat ameer mawya (ra)was at the time governer of syria when he listen about shahadat of hazrat usman(ra) he get shocked and ask ali about killer but ali denied any kind of corporate * +

Hazrat ameer mawya (ra)send many delegation to ali about demanding corporate about arresting of killer but ali denied and announced himself khalifa,(many people sure about that ali send killers to shaheed hazrat usman(ra) because ali want to become king) god know better * +
