Qur'an did exist... Qur'an is the ''word'' of God, it doesn't consist of ink and paper. It is called book becaus book in arabic referred to anything written, no matter where it has been written. In single volume or in different papers. If Bihar ul-Anwar is in several volumes that doesn't mean it is not Kitab. * +

The word used in hadith al thaqalyn is book of Allah, not Quran and Mohamad s.A.w says leaving among you, it means definitely Quran was present in the paper form and in one volume... Otherwise Mohamad s.A.w dint say that he leaved among us Book of Allah * +
