I just saw a Magpie give up it's perch on top of a lamppost to a stinky old, boring, done to death Pigeon and I'm feeling a little bit disappointed. Also, am I supposed to capitalise Pigeon and Magpie? It just felt more polite than grammatically correct. My brain ain't gone been done so good since the accident. * +

Was it a lone Magpie? Did you salute it? * +

Nah, I'm not into saluting them. Not that superstition is beneath me, I'm just more of a fan of 1 for sorrow, 2 for joy etc. So if I see just one I get a feeling of impending doom and frantically look for another. A man can't be saluting in such a frenzy, it's unbecoming. * +

With all the flapping anyone would think you were a bird * +

Maybe the pigeon was elderly, disabled or other such.
A magpie would definitely do the decent thing, being such a noble being. * +
