When I was 12, my mother had a brain aneurysm that ruptured and left her severely disabled. My legal guardians were abusive and convinced me that it was my fault. The mother I knew was gone forever, due to the brain damage. I recall believing that I killed her. She wasn't even dead, just different. People can be tricked into believing ridiculous things.

Plenty of people would have wanted the death penalty as soon as she was convicted. This should be a lesson to them..if and when she is found innocent that is. *
