1.7gb reserved too. Opened a bunch of apps and had 4.4gb available. It will free itself up once it needs it anyway. Only thing you win with clearing is some battery life i think. * +

It is like a windows pc. The more ram you have the more it will take advantage of. Can always go back to windows 2000 and enjoy how it just takes 100mb * +

These last few years i have stopped messing around with the phone as much. Android was a lot of fun back in the day running custom roms and rooting them. Holding the tinkering habit for pc only now. * +
