That sounds more like a Fancy dress party than a list of drinks Dan. * +

I had some special edition Innis+Gunn last week, wood cask aged first in Laphroaig whisky barrels and then finished off in Port barrels.
Not bad but I wouldn't want to drink more than a couple, it's very peaty but that's Laphroaig for you. Think it would have been better paired with a bottle of the port and a wee dram or 3 of the whisky from the same barrels that they aged it in.
I preferred the Irish whisky barrel aged one they do and their Rum barrel aged oatmeal stout is even better. * +

Spiced rum is my chosen tipple at the moment. I have tried quite a few now and wanted to get another bottle of my favourite Bumbu rum but they'd sold out when I tried to order one, so I got a bottle of Rumbullion cask strength instead. I haven't had it before but it comes highly recommended by those in the know about such things. I thought about ordering some Moonshine for a laugh but I didn't bother in the end, there's a small distillery called ''Twisted Roots'' just down the road in Bridlington that makes it. They sell it in 250ml jam jars alongside the full range of ''Rum Runners'' rums that they make, so I can just call in and get some whenever I want really. * +

I've got so much vodka in this house I said I wasn't buying any but I slung a bottle of pear grey goose in the trolley yesterday
