I don't know if European(left hand drive) lorries are any better or worse than UK lorries for that but i've noticed quite a few UK lorries now have warning notices on the back end reminding cyclists(and motorcyclists) that the lorry driver has a blind spot and cannot see them if they can't see the drivers mirrors. * +

The 'victim' in this case was a seventy seven year old woman. Watching the video she wasn't doing anything wrong, it's not like she was flying past people weaving in and out like a t**t. Regardless of the issues the perpetrator had she watched an old woman get fked up by a car, due to her actions and left the scene and went shopping. The police also stated that they could not categorically confirm if the pavement in question was a shared cycleway... Anyway, 77, *
