So how high can you jump off the floor? obviously unassisted by any other means than your leg strength?

I can probably jump about a foot high, but can't test as I've a bad back.
More importantly, how high can you jump off the floor?(hyper)
I guess I could jump higher than a foot(30cm) if I had a run and then jump.

It would have to be a guesstimate. That's not an easy thing to measure accurately on your own, you'd kinda need an assistant for that, or at the very least some complicated camera work. Also what are we measuring exactly? Is it a straight upwards jump, legs straight, from a standing position? Or is it how far can you get off the ground(jumping and then bending knees, lifting up legs, etc)? * +
