Protests show no sign of abating nearly a month after the suspicious death of 22yr old Mahsa Amini after she was arrested by the Iranian regime's so called 'morality police' for allegedly wearing her hijab incorrectly and disobeying the countries strict Islamic dress codes.

The protests are being led mostly by young women and school girls, which makes it difficult for the Iranian authorities to deal with in their usual fashion, as even they seem to realise that beating up, imprisoning and/or even murdering young women in large numbers isn't going to be a good look for them. * +

The Iranian authorities will be hardline soon enough and the protests, as always with these places, will be counter productive. She should have respected her culture. We know the consequences of arab spring, do these hookers really think they can stand against an Islamic regime? * +
