10 tourists dead, at least 32 people reported injured, after a section of a cliff fell onto their tourist boats on Furnas Lake, city of Capitolio, Minas Gerais state, Brazil, on January 8, 2022.

Videos of Saturdays incident showed tourists shouting as a column of rock came crashing down, smashing several leisure boats and sending a huge wave over the lake at Capitolio.

It was a relatively small chunk of rock, really. Still not something you want on your boat.

17,000 people nearby had been flooded out of their homes, apparently. The area had been subjected to extreme conditions. There will be fingers pointed. * +

You better check bout wht happened in Murree,Pakistan this past weekend..Tourists visiting Hill station Murree were caught in traffic nd many ov thm died coz of snow even small kids..Therz lotsa videos available on Youtube ov it

That's horrendous. There were severe weather warnings but it seems that only enticed people to visit.. * +

there's probably little the boat drivers could've done to know in advance, all the same if I saw that huge slab fall on my family member I'd be fu*king livid with them. *
