When i moved to this flat two years ago, i gutted it and started fresh. I know a carpet fitter so that was sorted.

I bought all the white goods new and looked around, but in the end it worked out best for me to order from the usual suspects. Big names. All got delivered and brought up to my apartment. I think one was Argos, if not two. Others i can't remember. I wasn't going for the cheapest i could find but i wouldn't have got the ones i wanted for less. * +

drive thru the poorer parts of town, you'll find 2nd hand furniture and kitchen stuff right quick. * +

White goods can be expensive as fu*k. When I moved into my new place I just used my credit card..
Is there not any charities round your way that help with stuff like that? * +
