Theres always scumtree or fleabay. Try your local charity shops. At least you know they have been checked by an electrician. * +

Buy a boiler suit and print some false ID. Turn up at people's houses and say the landlord/council are checking all white goods electrical safety standards.
Deem the ones you fancy unsafe and drive off with them.
