Some of us have little choice in the matter, but we're supposed to walk around rural areas? And I have no idea as to why you're bringing a weighted hgv into the matter, surely they'd be well trained in handling said vehicle, especially down winding, narrow country lanes.. * +

Yes then there are numpties like you that pull out in front of hgv and expect the hgv to stop on a penny. And cyclist. Hgv just cant hit the turbo button and fly by. Believe it or not hgv drivers dont want to kill you on your bike.

Bet you are one of those drivers that cut up the inside of a bus or hgv vehicle when they need to take a wide turn. * +

I very rarely use a bike, and when I do I'm not on your roads, nor any roads for that matter. I just find this to be an a*se of a topic. Generalising about how people are judging by the odd experience of yours here and there. But do carry on.. * +
