I haven't really thought about stuff like this. Housemates would leave notes all the time in our shared student house, and most times it was just being considerate to follow them. If it was something stupid, you just ignore it entirely until they approach you, I guess. * +

I forgot to close the stove a few times and the next time I came around; there was a note that said; 'turn off the fu*king stove or we will get burned to death'
But I am not sure if that qualifies as being passive aggressive. * +
