So now there's a newly mutated version of the coronavirus in Denmark, found in farmed Mink. As far as i've been able to tell from the news reports, farm workers with Covid-19 must have transmitted the infection on to the Mink on their farms, then the virus has spread through the Mink population and mutated into a completely new strain which the Mink have then been transmitting back to farm workers.

All travel to and from Denmark has been suspended immediately and anyone who has arrived back from the country within the last 14days is officially advised to self-isolate.

Denmark have ordered their entire population of several million farmed Mink to be exterminated. * +
