Had a female ring me said they were frm i.p.s and my sky broadband was being used by 7 unauthorised ppl In My Area Even Had A Recording Of A Busy Office In Background Ie Phones Ringing Typewriters Tapping Away Wanted My Bank Details So I Could Pay A Fee To Stop This,If I Didnt Pay My Internet Wd Be Cut Off,So I Said To The Indian Lady How Come Ur So Busy In That Call Centre With Social Distancing Strict In India? She Hung Up Lol I Rang Sky N They Said Sky Wd Never Ring You Saying That Only Way Sky Wd Cut Me Off Is Not Paying Bills Anyone Else Had A Scam Call?

I mentioned in ufohunter's topic about getting a recorded phone call from a computerised voice. it pretend to be a message from the inland revenue saying ring this number urgently, don't delay and contact your solicitor as legal consequences were likely if I failed to comply.

I googled the phone number and there were multiple results about it being an obvious scam. * +

a friend got a call from a supposed Microsoft employee that spoke bad english and prolly tried to fish something. and we are in Finland. * +

i had that last week, and my mobile number is on a need to know basis, so fk knows where they got it from. * +

Ive noticed when all these dodgy places ring now they have a number that appears local to you, i had 0161 and 01925 numbers call me yday so i answered them n it was some weird bloke askin me about life insurance and then just hung up on me when when i asked who the underwriter is * +
