Are they posting their work online for likes/shares/attention? Because I really have a problem with that. I've written a post about this before, hate when people try to gain points by exploiting and advertising a poor needy person's situation.

Even if they compensate them or even if it's simply to add to their portfolio so they can show it to potential jobs, I still have a problem with it. Why couldn't they choose something better than someone's situation?

If you're gonna help people, do it for the right reason. Not for your own personal gain or to make yourself look better. Just my opinion! * +

As long as the homeless declare their earnings and pay income tax on it, I can't see the issue.

You're 'allowed' to keep the first 12,000 of your own money.
