Wow, walking downhill actually improves blood glucose tolerance and can aid in insulin resistace which is much lower in uphill walking.
It also works other types of leg muscles. You shouldn't just go at the incline function of treadmills. Try working on the muscles it does not target by doing other exercises.

No, research shows that when going downhill you only burn 6.6 fewer calories per mile than walking on flat ground, So it uses less calories.

I have 100 percent lost the ability to dedicate myself to 'exercise'. I think it's cause I used to use exercise to punish myself. fu*ked up, I know

But I love manual work. So, swings and roundabouts *
