What's with all these scarecrows in peoples gardens lately?
Some of them are quite good. I saw one yesterday, sat in a deckchair, in shades, reading a book and had some beers close to hand.

Here it's a local scarecrow competition that's just become much more noticeable this year due to the corona pandemic.


It's just a bit of fun to try and lift peoples spirits.

Is that a pint of corona in that nurse's drinking vessel?

There's an annual one in a village near here that has been going for a good few years now, at least 20. Don't think it was the original one but it was quite well known in these parts, seen it featured on the local news a few times and i've noticed it has been copied by several other villages in the area now. * +
